Seeing Stripes

Stripes are so summer. This striped skirt has honestly been one of my best and favorite buys of the season. It was $12.99 at Burlington Coat Factory. Seriously. I accidentally stumbled into a store a few weeks ago that was still branded as a Cohoes! The trickery. I miss Cohoes so much. I still managed to find this, and two other midi skirts for under $25 … for all three of them. This however, has been the one I’ve worn the most, probably because it’s nautical and navy, and has stripes, which basically matches everything, right?

It’s been fun to find different ways to make it look totally different. In fact, I wore it twice to work in one week and got compliments both days — no one even noticed I had already sported the skirt just a few days prior!

My favorite pairing with these stripes so far has definitely been with my gorgeous Arvo “Time Sawyer” watch I’ve been wearing. The blush band is perfectly feminine and fun, but still looks sleek and professional.
