Essence of Style: Southern Charm

Here in New England the days are getting shorter, the breeze is getting cooler, and the leaves are slowly beginning to make their way off the trees in varying shades of yellow, orange, green and red, and that can only mean one thing…fall!

Fall is absolutely my favorite season. The foliage in the area will be stunning in just a few short weeks, I’ll get to start donning big, fuzzy sweaters, my birthday is coming up…and a local tradition: the Big E will be in town!

The weather has been perfect for boots lately, and I can’t seem to put my cowboy boots back in my closet because I’ve been wearing them so frequently. Even on a warmer day, the boots and a lightweight denim jacket can transition a sundress into the early evening when it starts to cool off. Yes, I’m a city girl, and I live in suburbia (for now) but at heart, I love sweet tea, southern brunch, cowboy boots and denim as much as any Savannah sweetheart.
