Now that it’s starting to get cold outside, and the holidays are fast-approaching, the best thing I can do is embrace fall goodies, cozy blankets and treasure any time I have left spent in bed. This time of year always gets crazy busy, so between school, work, entertaining and the cold air, cozy breakfasts, tasty treats from local bakeries and decorations everywhere have to be appreciated as much as possible.
We’re prepping for #ThanksgivingWithTheBelezarians, so I’m decking out the house. Fall is my favorite and if I could just keep these decorations through Christmas, I’d be happy. I found this sweet chalkboard banner at Target for just $3! I was able to customize it with “Thankful” and I can reuse it again around Christmas time when I do have to change the decorations. (This one isn’t available anymore unless you can find one lingering in your local store in the “$1/$3 spot”, but here’s a similar one for just $5…also it’s really embarrassing how many pictures there are of me around the house. #OnlyChildProbs)
Over the weekend, my mom and I took a ride to Hadley/Amherst and her first trip to Atkins Farms. I hadn’t been since high school and honestly, we live 25 minutes away. We snagged this delicious apple cake (and of course some cider donuts!) from their bakery.
